Today marks the second anniversary of Sprocket’s adoption! We celebrated with snuggles and toys and pettings and blue donuts. The blue donut barely closes in the back nowadays, and I don’t think it would keep him afloat anymore. Of course I took photos, because if Sprocket’s adoption day isn’t worthy of photos then no day is.
Remember this teeny little critter when he was first rescued?
He was so full of love and floof and snuggles from the first day we met. In fact, it was because of his love and sprockettiness that his Fairy Godmother was able to see him on the side of the road and rescue him. Every day with Sprockerbee is a fun and happy day because with such a silly little Sprockerball bouncing around, how could anyone be unhappy?
Of course we will be celebrating Sprocket’s adoption day all week, especially tomorrow, which is the anniversary of his surgery. And in late September, we will celebrate Blue Donut Day, the day he was freed from his Blue Donut and gained the freedom to sprocket around the whole house.
