Introducing Nico of Fox Town

Nico has been a Fox Kitty for months, more than a year by now. He started out as a lodger and his stay kept getting protracted until now he seems like a permanent fixture. I’ll miss him when he moves out this summer. He is one of the largest and handsomest kittehs I have ever met. He is snuggly too but so easily upset that it is hard to know just how long to pet him. I would beg him for the privilege of cuddles, and often but not always he would grant my wishes, at least for a while.

Nico is handsome!

He loves the outdoors. He lives for the outdoors.

It is impossible to convey his sheer magnitude in these photos. He is a big kitty and on top of that he is a muscular kitty and on top of that he is a plump kitty.
Nico is gigantic!

He looks forbidding but deep down inside he is a sweet and friendly kitty, so long as he perceives no slights.
Nico!

handsome and super stripey!
Nico is beautiful!

  1. Nico is quite handsome and reminds me A LOT of Stevie – our “yard cat”…..Stevie lives “around” but visits us fairly frequently for a handout. She’s obviously either living elsewhere and likes to visit OR she prefers the outdoor life because she’s not remotely interested in coming indoors. She loves to be petted – doesn’t like laps – but is super friendly now that she knows us and Sam. Sam’s “wary” of her – I’m sure she’s trying to play with him when she gives him a swat but he’s so timid he doesn’t get it – at all! 😀 Nico is lucky to have cuddles and attention from you!

He looks like such a nice solid cat.
I’ll bet he likes solid patting, not little feather strokes, but real down-to-the-skin rubs.

you’re 100% right, lauowolf. i’m sure you two would get along great from the start. little feather strokes were my main problem. also picking him up. there’s a way to do it right but I never quite figured it out.

Nico is very much his own cat! He’s so handsome! And independent!

    Oooh.. LOVE that last pic.
I need to have you come over and snap good pics of AdamCat when he hops in the tub (empty), for no apparent reason, or drinks from the bathroom faucet.
