Sprocket Nose and Dirty Toes

Someone needs to teach Sprocket how to scrub his little kitten toes – all 14 of them!

Venus and the crescent moon – so beautiful tonight. I picked some lilacs by the moonlight, much to the approval of Lotus, who let me beep his nose with them.

Venus! Is that the planet that has been shining so brightly in the western sky these last few weeks/months(?).

I love the toes and the nose!

  2. Did we miss something about Sprocket missing some toesies? Sometimes our memories are kinna “iffy”.

About the sky… We have too much clouds and light from town fer TBT ta see well. But a coupla Big Moons ago on an oddly clear night, he saw 2 bright stars where he knew there shouldnt have been anny. He figured they were planets. He checked an sure enouff, they were. An he noticed Mars near Leo. It was a good view fer here.

Cats normally only have four toes on back feet.

He’s not exactly missing toes, he’s missing a whole foot! If you haven’t noticed, that’s okay because he hasn’t noticed that he is missing anything either. 😀

I think the most toes a Miao has is 22 (Lotus), but it is hard to keep track of them. Or maybe I just have difficulty with numbers greater than 10.

  3. We were looking at the same view last night – sans lilacs 🙂

  4. Dear Sprocket,
First, let me say you are my favorite kitten in the universe. That said, the state of your toes is unacceptable. A cat needs to be clean from tip of tail to tip of the toesies. As you have fewer toesies to keep clean, there really isn’t excuse for toe dirt. Please give yourself a nice, long bath with emphasis on the paws. If you need help getting all the crooks and crannies, I’m sure Chun would assist you. You are absolutely adorable, but you must still be clean.
    With lots of aloha,
    Pedro

You will be happy to know that I inspected Sprocktoes this morning and they were squeaky clean. However, he has a lot of mischief to accomplish today so the current state of affairs may not last. you are his roll model and a world champion groomer, so I certain that he will take your advice to heart.

  5. (look at how cute his little chin spot is!!!)

  6. I’m with Pedro on this one……we all realize that being adorable IS a full-time occupation for you little Sprockers BUT you should make sure before a photo shoot especially that those toesies are shiny bright and clear of all debris! We have to admit though that the nose and toes shots are adorable in their pinkness!

Wish lilacs were blooming here already, but not. And to think the Lilac Parade is only 2-3 weeks away.
    Sprockie toes are the cutest!

Our lilacs started budding when we had an unusually warm week in March. Usually it’s not till mid-May. Now they are finally blooming, but some of the buds didn’t make it through the successive frosts we had so there aren’t as many this year. 😥 I hope you get your lilacs soon.

Some varieties seem to have done better than others. The ones in my backyard, not so well.

Beeping a kitty nose with lilac under a crescent moon??? That’s an almost umbearably adorable image to picture.
