Rather a dramatic name for cookies, but they are yummy enough to earn it. The special thing about these pumpkin cookies is that you cook the canned pumpkin down for 30-45min before adding it to the recipe. When I first opened the can of pumpkin, I was surprised by how solid it was. I almost skipped the boiling step, but I am glad I didn’t. To my surprise, it actually did cook down to half its volume within about half an hour. The cookies are so smooth and rich and spicy. They did not last long in the Miao House.
