Today I caught Chun sticking a paw in the toaster. It’s a good thing we keep it unplugged when it isn’t being used.
Now I’m afraid he’ll start dropping his mousies into the toaster to make them nice and crispy.
Scary! That gave me a shiver.
Oh noes!! Please be careful with those wonderful paws Chun!!
Oh goodness! You need a toaster oven instead
I actually have a toaster oven from when I lived in the apartment in MN. It’s good for reheating stuff in, but somehow I think it dries out toast. Back in MN, Chun used it as a launch pad to the kitchen/dining room bookcase, and I think he managed to mess with the door so that now it makes a weird clunking sound when I open it.
What a mischievous little kitteh you have ther
Yikes!!! This reminds me of being a mom of a small curious child. Guess you’ll have to make sure it’s unplugged and watch him like a hawk when you’re using it. Phew….it takes so much energy!!
i always keep my toaster in a cabinet when i’m not using it.
chun obviously needs more stimulation than he’s getting. i recommend that you get him a plastic-nonfunctional-fischer-price-style kitchen set, with a stove and a toaster and plastic toast and and a plastic frying pan and plastic eggs and a timer that goes ‘ding’.
We don’t have enough cabinet space. You know how awful this kitchen is, with half the cabinets falling apart. 😦
Do they make easy bake ovens for kittens without opposable thumbs?
Didn’t we have a kitchen set with plastic eggs way back when I was like 5?
they don’t make easy-bake ovens for kittens, regardless of their thumbs. he’ll have to make do with one designed for humans. you could definitely send their product support team an email with a suggestion though.
i don’t remember what all we had, but we had a huge variety of plastic foods.
OK, that’s terrifying.
